The Partial Redevelopment Project was initiated by former school supervisor Mrs. Lucy LAU CHAN So May and former principal Mrs. WONG SZE Lo Sai in 2007. After extensive preliminary discussions with the Education Bureau by former principal Mr. WONG Ming Hau and former vice-principal Mr. YIU Che Keung, consensus was reached in 2012. A technical feasibility study was made by the school and was approved by the Education Bureau in 2013. Consultants for architectural services and quantity surveying were recruited to follow the project since 2015. With the assistance of honorary advisor, Ms. Anna KWONG, the design of the new campus was finalized and approved by the Education Bureau and the Architectural Services Department. In 2019 and 2020, the project was discussed and approved by the Eastern District Council, Panel on Education, Public Works Subcommittee and Finance Committee of the Legislative Council. HK$285 million will be subvented by the government for the project. The construction works commenced in December 2021 and are projected to be completed in the first quarter of 2025.
